Overview

$12.50 to $15.50 per hour. We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process.

We are currently looking for the right Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team. The position offers an hourly wage plus commissions. We provide a comprehensive benefits package and flexible retail hours in many locations.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the store staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. Responsibilities include greeting, engaging, and assisting customers with sales, loans, and other transactions; handling customer inquiries and problem resolution; working with a variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate earns an hourly wage plus commissions based on productivity. Actual pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and merchandised.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Explains the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers and works to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training and performs other related duties as needed.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to stand and perform duties for extended periods.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified (where applicable).
• Ability to work at exterior locations or retrieve products stored in exterior storage areas as needed.
• Minimum Age: 18 years;
  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to serve customers and work in a team environment.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and perform basic math.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Ability to work at multiple locations as needed and to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems and office machines.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission, based on the gross profit of personal performance. Details provided during the interview process.
