Full‑Time Retail Sales Associate

$12.50 to $15.50 per hour – hourly wage plus commission.

Commission structure: earn up to 8% on transactions, averaging an additional $3.58 per hour on top of hourly rate.

Entry‑level, full‑time sales associate in pawn store locations nationwide. Partner with staff to provide customer service on both lending and retail sides, greeting and engaging customers, processing sales, loans, and other transactions, and handling a wide variety of merchandise, including jewelry, tools, electronics, and firearms in FFL locations.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to build rapport and recommend financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and displays merchandise.
• Performs sales and loan transactions following policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items in compliance with policies.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect.
• Partners with employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Successfully completes assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
• May be asked to assist customers on the exterior of the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
• Minimum age 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to serve customers and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Can work at multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Must have flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Details are provided during the interview process.
