Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Stocking, Merchandising, Retail Sales
Position Summary
We are looking for an energetic team player to join our ${Company Name} location. The role will focus on customer service, product knowledge, and operational excellence in the optical area.
Responsibilities- Provide member service by greeting, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting the company’s products and services.
- Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking items, cleaning displays, organizing merchandise, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing items, and securing fragile and high-shrink products.
- Maintain the optical sales floor in accordance with company policies by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging merchandise, and identifying shrinkage.
- Receive and stock merchandise in the optical area, followed by accurate documentation and use of equipment.
- Operate hardware such as cash registers, process member purchases, handle payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges using appropriate procedures for different membership and payment types.
- Sell optical products and services, assist members with purchasing decisions, measure, adjust, and repair frames and lenses, complete eyewear and contact lens orders, verify prescription information, complete paperwork and forms, collect payments for doctor services, and perform optometric pre‑tests and record results.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00
* depending on location and classification. Additional compensation may be paid in premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
