Safety-Kleen is seeking a Sales Representative to join their safety conscious team in Abilene, TX
. The position is responsible for maintaining existing accounts while also performing business development for the SKE territory assigned. The Rep will serve as a point of contact for all customers interested in specific service/products, such as oil collection/recycling, equipment cleaning, parts washers, industrial waste removal and more.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
  • Identify, prospect and connect with customers who could be interested in SK specific services/products (i.e. collection and recycling of oil, industrial equipment cleaning, parts washers, industrial waste removal and more).
  • Work with route drivers to convert new sales opportunities.
  • Promote revenue and margin growth; sell products and services to clients in specific LOB.
  • Grow the current customer base with new lines of business.
  • Monitor progress in sales and P&L goals.
  • Negotiate and draft contracts, scope and quote projects.
  • Deliver effective contract and relationship management.
  • Interact with operations and customer service to deliver exceptional service to clients.
  • Develop account plans, achieve monthly sales quotas/budgets.
  • Prepare and deliver customer quotes, prospect and convert leads to customers.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable form of transportation required.
  • Proven ability to develop a book of business.
  • Working knowledge and current use of Salesforce is a plus.
  • 3+ years’ business-to-business sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Time and territory management skills to ensure focus on value-added sales activities.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to facilitate a service team approach to ensure customer satisfaction and follow-through.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive decision-making.
  • Ability to travel within the region.
