West Techs Chill Water Specialist located in Abilene, TX has been serving the community since 2006. A commercial and industrial HVAC, and Comprehensive Solutions Company. We service and install all brands of chillers, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, and all types of commercial / industrial HVAC equipment. We are currently looking for a Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. Pay Scale: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Work Hours:

8:00am to 5:00pm, with 1 hour lunch; some weekends and evenings

Plan layouts, install, and service electrical systems. Install control wiring and equipment for commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience in conduit bending, electrical load sizing, electronic controls, and equipment replacement.

• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Pass background and drug screen
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications, safety codes and local electrical codes.
• Advanced customer service skills
• Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles
• Operate scissor, boom lift, or forklift in safe manner
• Read and understand basic electrical schematic and wiring diagrams
• Desire to grow
• Active TDLR Journeyman Electricians License
• 4 years of electrical experience
