Safety Technician

Vanguard Maintenance & Electrical is a non-union electrical contractor performing large-scale commercial and data center work. We take safety seriously and are looking for a Safety Technician who can support fast-paced, high-profile data center projects while working directly with field leadership.

The Safety Technician supports day-to-day job-site safety activities on data center projects. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow within construction safety while gaining hands-on field experience in the electrical industry.

• Perform daily and weekly job-site safety inspections
• Assist with enforcing PPE, LOTO, and site safety rules
• Support new-hire and site-specific safety orientations
• Observe work activities and provide real-time safety feedback
• Assist with incident reporting, documentation, and follow-up
• Help conduct toolbox talks and safety training
• Maintain safety signage, supplies, and documentation

• 1+ year of construction or industrial field experience (electrical preferred)
• OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 preferred or willing to obtain)
• Interest in construction safety and compliance
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to communicate in the field
• Ability to work occasional overtime and weekends as required
• Comfortable working in active data center environments
