Job Description:A Diesel Service Technician will be responsible for providing service to our fleet of Mixer Trucks as well as Haul Tractors & Trailers. The typical duties include, but not limited to all aspects of truck & trailer repair other than bodywork, including computer diagnostics on engine / transmission / chassis, emissions system repairs, transmission / clutch / linkage; electrical; starting systems;
engine PM; A/C; and other typical truck repairs.

- Maintain our fleet of concrete mixer trucks, tractors & trailers - this can include cleaning, maintenance, visual inspection, diagnosis, and removal/replacement of parts and attachments
- Use OEM and Aftermarket Diagnostic Software to perform troubleshooting and repair of all equipment and trucks
- Follow any other instructions and perform any other duties requested by the supervisor
- Perform standard vehicle maintenance, standard component inspections, and repairs
- Perform facility maintenance duties
- Interact with drivers to properly determine nature of complaint once the problem is identified
- Document repair after all work has been completed
- Work in accordance with all federal and company compliance guidelines (i.e., safety, DOT, MOT)
- Welding repairs when needed
- Perform other duties as required to support operations
- Must provide a comprehensive set of hand and power tools needed to perform daily task
- Must be able to lift at least 50 to 100 lbs and stand, kneel, or crawl for extended periods of time
- 2 years' experience as a automotive or diesel technician
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
- Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug
