Position Summary
TIC is looking for a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic Journeyman for a project located in Abilene, TX.

Requirements- 3+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic
- Experience with field troubleshooting equipment
- Experience working with Caterpillar, Liebherr, Xtreme, and Takeuchi
- Experience with diagnostic systems: CAT ET, Cummins INSITE, Diesel Laptop
Up to $39 per hour
$130 per diem per day worked if applicable
Current schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday – Friday
Must be willing to work additional overtime, weekends and nights when required
All offers are contingent on your ability to pass a drug and alcohol and non-DOT physical test.
Work Environment- Must be able to move about a construction/industrial site, stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
- Work in a construction environment with changing outdoor weather conditions.
- Work irregular hours, weekends, overtime, and holidays as required.
- May be required to use ladders, mechanical platforms, manlifts, scaffold to access required equipment/work areas (may exceed 200 feet); must climb and maintain balance on formwork, steel formwork, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
- Move and work in confined and cluttered places and uneven surfaces.
- Must complete tasks in a noisy and dusty environment.
- May be required/able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds across the site.
- Must have required tools.
- Observe and comply with all safety and project rules, perform other duties as required.
- Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing, and non-DOT physical test.
