As an RV Service Technician, you’ll inspect, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of RV systems. From slide‑outs and awnings to water heaters and air conditioners, you’ll be the one getting our customers back on the road and ready for adventure. Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues on RVs
  • Complete pre‑delivery inspections and perform warranty work
  • Communicate clearly with the service team and customers about needed repairs
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Continuously improve your knowledge through training and hands‑on experience

RV experience is a plus, but not required. If you’ve worked with your hands: auto, diesel, construction, plumbing, electrical, we’ll help you make the transition.

Requirements Basic Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50–75 lbs and work in tight spaces
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions (bays are covered)
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Technical & Mechanical Skills (Preferred, not Required)
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and system issues
  • Experience with slide‑outs, awnings, leveling systems, and basic structural repairs
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely
  • Understanding of safety procedures and compliance standards
  • Previous RV, automotive, marine, or trailer repair experience preferred
  • Background in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or construction a plus
  • Ability to accurately document repairs, inspections, and warranty work
  • Comfortable using tablets, mobile devices, service software, and basic computer systems
  • Attention to detail when completing repair orders and checklists

  • Ability to communicate clearly with service advisors and team members
  • Willingness to work as part of a team in a fast‑paced service department

Summary Pay & Growth Summary

This RV Technician position offers paid, on‑the‑job training along with company‑provided RV Technician Certification courses at no cost to the employee. Starting pay begins at $15 per hour, plus an additional $5 per flag hour for every flag hour clocked.

After completing Level I RV Technician Certification, technicians will see an increase in both hourly pay and flag‑hour compensation, providing a clear path for earnings growth as skills and certifications advance.
