Company Overview

We are a Hudson Oaks, Texas-based Internet Service Provider (ISP) delivering high‑speed Internet and voice services throughout multiple states to residential, business, K‑12 education, and government customers. Essential Functions
  • Successfully complete and maintain the tower safety and rescue training program.
  • Climb and work on communications towers for installing, replacing, or repairing antenna systems equipment; perform tower maintenance.
  • Use and care basic hand tools and mechanical equipment.
  • Recognize hazards associated with tower climbing, construction equipment, and energized lines, and perform duties safely.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure all hardware is tight, antennas are level, hangers properly fastened, supports in place, and weatherproofing adequate.
  • Complete a Job Safety Analysis (JSA) before each tower climb, have it performed by all on site, and document the JSA after job completion.
  • Inspect telecommunications equipment to identify problems and adjust equipment for optimal performance.
  • Run appropriate power, ground, fiber, Cat5e, and/or coaxial cables and check antenna positioning to meet specified azimuths or mechanical tilts.
  • Take site photos and capture images to document work performed.
  • Transport equipment to work sites using utility trucks and trailers; lift equipment safely with rigging tools or a capstan hoist.
  • Complete reports related to outages, project status, progress, or other work details using phone and computer software.
  • Adopt an appropriate course of action in changing situations and communicate orally and in writing.
  • Follow instructions accurately and complete assigned tasks.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Comfortable and recent experience working outdoors.
  • Team‑oriented mentality and strong safety consciousness.
  • Pass a drug screening test and a criminal background check.
  • Complete the in‑house training program.
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe/acceptable driving record in compliance with company policy.
  • Must be able to climb tall structures up to 500 feet with a load and lift equipment of up to 300 pounds.
Education and Experience
  • High‑school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Working knowledge of basic hand tools, mechanical equipment, and electro‑mechanical equipment.
Job Classification & Work Environment
  • Field Operations – Tower, non‑exempt.
  • Work in outdoor elements such as cold, hot, precipitation, and wind.
  • Proximity to heavy machinery and moving vehicles, high noise level.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Climbing and working at elevated positions up to 250 feet.
Physical Demands
  • Stationary position for 8‑10 hours a day.
  • Frequently moving, transporting, and positioning objects weighing 50 pounds or more.
  • Pull own body weight plus equipment weight up a vertical tower repeatedly.
  • Stand, walk, stoop, sit, and climb ladders and communication towers as required.
  • Use hand and power tools frequently.
Working Hours & Travel
  • Regular hours, Monday through Friday, full‑time 40+ hours, flexible schedule.
  • Overtime and on‑call rotation required, frequency based on team size.
  • Travel 20–40% voluntarily; overnight travel required as needed.
