Critical Facilities Engineer

As a Critical Facilities Engineer, you help keep mission‑critical data center infrastructure running safely, reliably, and efficiently. You work across electrical, mechanical/HVAC, cooling, and controls systems to support 24/7 uptime. Depending on your level, you may focus on hands‑on learning and operations (IC2–IC3) or take on more advanced troubleshooting, leadership, and technical decision‑making (IC4–IC5). Senior technicians lead complex troubleshooting events, guide system improvements, and mentor junior team members.

* Operate and maintain critical facility systems,
* Respond to equipment issues
* Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis to restore systems quickly and safely.
* Support upgrades, retrofits, and commissioning activities to ensure new or modified systems meet operational standards.
* Follow established procedures and technical documentation and help improve drawings, one‑lines, logs, and test plans to ensure consistent execution across sites.
* Work closely with operations, engineering, construction partners, vendors, and utilities to ensure safe and reliable outcomes.
* Communicate technical risks and findings clearly and contribute to improving standards, maintenance practices, and overall system performance.
