Petroleum Service Technician

United Uptime Services is a leading provider of petroleum fueling and EV charging system equipment installation and service across the United States. We’re experiencing significant growth and are seeking skilled Petroleum Service Technicians to join our team in the Abilene, TX area.

We supply petroleum fueling and EV charging system equipment, installation, and service across the Southwest, Midwest, and Rocky Mountain regions. We are an authorized distributor and service provider for Gilbarco Veeder‑Root and other major equipment brands. Our company has 35+ branch offices and more than 1,300 team members throughout the United States. We provide industry‑leading compliance testing solutions in all 50 states through our Tanknology Business.

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on UST/AST systems and components at retail/commercial fueling centers, including dispensers, pumps, controllers, POS consoles, printers, fuel management systems, leak detection equipment, lighting and electrical systems, valves, piping, and more.
• Take daily directions from the Service Manager or Service Dispatcher.
• Respond to after‑hours emergency service requests for "site down" or other priority situations in an on‑call rotation.
• Perform required prerequisite work necessary to obtain and maintain certification from original equipment manufacturers.
• Follow all customer protocols and procedures, including customer safety and housekeeping guidelines.

• Industry experience with petroleum equipment service and maintenance and certifications in the following areas (highly preferred):
• Verifone, Passport, Ruby point‑of‑sale systems
• Red Jacket, Franklin motors and controllers
• Customer service driven: available to be on call and capable of completing all work efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships.
• A strong educational foundation: high school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass mandatory pre‑employment testing: drug test, background and DMVR check.
