Fiber Splicing Technician at Insight Global, Abilene, TX.
Responsibilities- Install, splice, test, and maintain fiber optic cables for high-speed data transmission.
- Perform fusion splicing and fiber testing.
- Work collaboratively with a large team to meet project deadlines.
- Follow all safety protocols.
- Minimum 3 years of fiber splicing experience.
- Ability to work both day and night shift schedules.
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
- Reliable transportation to and from the data center site.
- Commitment to the full contract duration (site closed only 3 days for Christmas).
- Must be able to start on December 12th or December 16th.
- 10 positions available.
