American Electric Power in Abilene, TX seeks a Transmission Line Mechanic A to assist in the installation, maintenance, and inspection of overhead electrical facilities. You will operate line trucks, climb poles, and work with live-line tools under supervision.
No prior experience is required, but line work experience or line-school education is preferred. Candidates must obtain a CDL and be prepared for travel and overtime as needed. Safety and adherence to company policies are essential.
