Job Overview
HOLT Aerial is hiring for our 2026 season. We are seeking Seasonal Aerial Platform Operators who are not afraid of heights and enjoy traveling. As Aerial Platform Operators, you will assist our clients by operating aerial lifts so they can troubleshoot and perform maintenance work.
EnvironmentPower Plants, Wind Farms, Refineries (working in the elements).
Compensation$18.00–$20.00 per hour with per diem. We take care of all travel to and from locations, along with hotel accommodations.
Responsibilities- Operate aerial lifts up to 350 feet.
- Travel away from home for months at a time.
- Follow company and manufacturer’s guide regarding proper operation of equipment.
- Attend daily safety meetings and follow safe driving practices at the field level.
- Work at heights up to 341 feet and lift up to 65 lbs.
- Assist HOLT Aerial’s fleet team in mobilizing equipment away from the project.
- Assist mechanics in the shop and support logistics by moving equipment or people between projects.
- At least 21 years old.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Body weight not exceeding 300 lbs.
- Willingness and availability to travel 40–45 weeks out of the year.
- Heavy equipment experience is a plus.
- Equipment maintenance experience is a plus.

About HOLT AerialHOLT Aerial operates in small 1-to-3‑man crews typically. Each crew has one Crew Lead and 1–2 operators to help ensure successful project outcomes for HOLT Aerial customers. Operators are responsible for helping the Crew Lead set up and operate our equipment, following all safety rules and regulations, and assisting with troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment. When Operators are not on projects, they are often asked to assist at Operations Headquarters in Abilene with either maintenance on equipment and/or mobilizing equipment.
