Service Technician

Job Summary

Repairs, maintains and assists in the installation of vending machines and equipment.

Canteen – 1075 East Highway 80, Abilene, TX 79601. Full‑time schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.

• Fixed pay: $20.00 per hour.

• Respond to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company‑owned vehicle.
• Call customers to determine adequacy of service and resolve complaints.
• Visually inspect machines to determine causes of malfunctions; dismantle machines to access problem area.
• Inspect parts for wear or misalignment, remove and replace defective parts, repair broken parts, realign and adjust components, test machine operation.
• Review inventory and order parts; handle shipping and receiving of machines; maintain equipment inventory.
• Prepare machines for installation; assist in installations and removals.
• Set up and operate mechanical equipment and hand tools (drills, grinders, welding torches) for machine repair.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous technician experience preferred.
• Willingness to be trained if necessary.
