The City of Abilene seeks a Communications Supervisor to lead the telecommunicator team responsible for receiving and dispatching calls for police, fire, and EMS. You’ll supervise staff, ensure policy compliance, and coordinate multi-agency responses using CAD in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, 2+ years of dispatcher experience, TCOLE Telecommunicator License, EMD certification, and proficiency with CAD/RMS systems.
