Job Title: Service Technician
- Abilene
Pay Scale: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour, based on experience.
Work Hours: Regular work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break. Participation in a rotating on-call schedule is required to provide 24/7 emergency coverage, including occasional evenings and weekends.
Primary Job Function: Inspect, troubleshoot, and service commercial HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and a positive customer experience. Collaborate with the Service Manager by sharing recommendations related to training, inventory requirements, and field support needs.
Reports to: Service Manager
Required Qualifications- Universal EPA Certification required.
- Proficient in interpreting electrical schematics, wiring layouts, and mechanical blueprints.
- Knowledgeable in diagnosing and servicing a broad range of HVAC systems using effective troubleshooting methods.
- Skilled in evaluating equipment issues and determining appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
- Hands-on experience with chillers and commercial HVAC equipment maintenance and repair.
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities, with a proven commitment to accountability, leadership, and team support.
