** Job Overview:
** The Fleet Coordinator (Abilene) will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of Primoris Services Corporation's fleet operations in the Abilene area, ensuring vehicles and equipment are maintained, available, and compliant with all regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate the scheduling of vehicle and equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections with internal shops and external vendors.
Track and manage fleet inventory, including vehicle assignments, mileage, fuel consumption, and utilization.
Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards for fleet operations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date fleet records, including maintenance logs, registration, insurance, and permits.
Assist in the procurement and disposal of fleet assets, including researching new vehicles/equipment and preparing necessary documentation.
Monitor and analyze fleet operating costs, identifying areas for efficiency improvements and cost reduction.
Communicate effectively with drivers, project managers, and other stakeholders regarding fleet availability, issues, and schedules.
Respond to and resolve emergent fleet-related issues, including breakdowns and accidents.
Assist in the implementation of fleet management software and other technological solutions.
Conduct regular site visits to inspect vehicles and equipment, ensuring proper use and condition.

Job Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required;
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in fleet coordination, logistics, or a related field, preferably in the construction or heavy equipment industry.
Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures, DOT regulations, and fleet safety standards.
Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff and external vendors.
Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
