• Follow delivery instructions, and maintain compliance with all DOT, company and customer safety and operational policies and procedures
• Properly load and unload products at various customer locations in a professional, courteous, timely, safe, and efficient manner
• Connect and disconnect hoses, operating pumps and valves for loading and unloading, safely filling tanks using various size hoses, nozzles and fittings
• Use onboard technology as instructed (Smartlogix, Samsara)
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely, if applicable
• Comply with Sun Coast’s accident and incident reporting procedures for accidents and spills
• Other related tasks as assigned by manager

• Valid class B CDL (Class A welcomed)
• Hazmat and tanker endorsements
• Have at least 1 year of experience hauling liquid bulk in a tanker trailer or bobtail
• Valid DOT medical card
• Safe driving record
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service
• Ability to work weekends, and an extended workweek
• May be subject to comply with site specific drug testing requirements which may include hair follicle drug testing

• Current/active loading cards
• Fuel hauling experience

This position includes outdoor work in varying weather conditions and extended periods of driving, loading, and unloading products. Candidates should be comfortable working in a physically active environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety. Candidates should also be comfortable climbing steps to verify tank compartments and getting in and out of the tractor, multiple times a day.

This position is designated as safety sensitive. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of all required pre‑employment screenings, which may include a background check, drug and alcohol screening, and any other evaluations required by law or company policy.
