Overview

We are hiring a Regional CDL Delivery Driver ’re on a mission to transform the construction industry by empowering contractors and communities through innovative technology, real-time support, and a team that cares.

Location:

Abilene, TX.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime pay after 40 hours. On-call on weekends only in special circumstances.

Primary Responsibilities

We deliver equipment and innovation. Our technology provides real-time access to fleet locations, work orders, and delivery details to help drivers work efficiently and safely.

  • Operates vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws
  • Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required routes, obeying traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Manoeuvres truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas and follows loading crew signals
  • Assists with loading and unloading goods and materials using specialized equipment when warranted; unloads empty skids and returns equipment to designated area
  • Maintains signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork; delivers documentation to shipping office or staff when delivery route is complete
  • Facilitates routine service on trucks, including checking oil, water, and air; reports maintenance malfunctions to Shipping Supervisor
  • Arranges trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and staff at delivery points
  • Ability to stay focused in a busy environment
Education and Experience:
  • Must hold either a commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license, depending on state and weight of vehicle
  • Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state Department of Transportation regulations
  • Must pass DOT physical (trucks over 10,000 lbs)
  • Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Must be able to travel frequently
  • CDL drivers may be required to be clean shaven to deliver to customers who require it
  • This is a safety-sensitive position; any offer of employment is contingent on passing a 10-panel drug screen
