CDL Driver- Local and OTR

Position Overview

Coleman Worldwide Moving has immediate openings for CDL driving positions. This full-service moving company requires drivers to load, transport, and unload household goods.

Drivers will lead moving crews, interact with customers, and grow within the company.

• Transport goods using a company truck.
• Lead crew in loading and unloading shipments.
• Inspect shipments prior to loading for proper packing and wrapping.
• Perform accurate inventory of shipment.
• Assist loading trucks and containers for interstate movement.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip safety inspections on truck and moving equipment.
• Maintain required documentation and paperwork for shipments, expenses, driver logs, and DOT regulations.
• Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Willing to travel locally, intrastate, and/or interstate.
• Operate a box truck or tractor trailer (as applicable to CDL qualification).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Be on time, reliable, and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred:
  Real , Commercial Driver's License (CDL), or valid driver's license.

• Indoors and outdoors.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent squatting, bending, and stair use.
• Driving for long periods.

• 40 hours of vacation pay after 1 year of employment.
