Final Mile Driver

As a Final Mile Driver, you will pick up, transport, and deliver freight locally, not to include hazardous materials, in a non CDL-A vehicle.

• Safe and timely transportation of freight from origin to destination.
• Load and unload shipments, individually or with assistance, with or without mechanical freight handling equipment, including frequent lifting, pulling, and carrying.
• Inspect vehicle for defects and safe operating condition before, during and after trips, and submit a written Vehicle Condition Report at the end of each trip.
• Check shipping papers to determine load nature and ensure hazardous materials are not present.
• Ensure all shipping documentation (manifest, security seal sheet, bills of lading, shipping orders, freight bills, etc.) required to move with shipments is available and accompanies the shipment during delivery.
• Properly handle and complete all necessary paperwork related to vehicle operations and freight movements.

• At least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to satisfactorily pass background check and alcohol and drug test.
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• At least 6 months of driving experience, including a personal motor vehicle.
• Willingness to enter the Driver Trainee Program after successfully completing one year in the Final Mile Driver role.
• Preferred: previous experience with Pallet Jack, Load & unload, Box Truck, Delivery Driver, or CDL

Pay: $31.35-$34.50 Per Hour (pay may vary based on location and experience)
