Job Description
Supports the day‑to‑day operations of the Branch by providing order and delivery services. Responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparation of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.
Safety and Background RequirementsThis is a safety‑sensitive position. Candidates must work in a constant state of awareness and in a safe manner. Employment requires a pre‑employment drug test (screening for amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidine). A background check for convictions directly related to duties may be conducted; only job‑related convictions will be considered and will not automatically disqualify the candidate.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED with warehouse or distribution experience preferred. Able to identify product by size, type, style, color or product code; read orders and match shipping tickets to items picked. Basic math and reasoning skills. Ability to obtain certification for power‑truck equipment and to operate inventory control equipment (bar‑coding equipment, handheld devices). Fluent in English;
Spanish a plus.
Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted; occasionally up to 75 lbs. Able to withstand extreme temperatures typical of a warehouse environment. Position requires standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing for large amounts of time and may involve ladder climbing. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
