Production Worker - Bale; Abilene

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide various production duties in a warehouse environment. Determine usability/quality of items and sort accordingly. Process items in designated stations for distribution.

No experience required.

• Must exhibit great attention to detail.
• Must be able to follow verbal instructions.
• Relate appropriately and positively with co-workers.
• Must be able to safely handle, lift and carry items.
• Maneuver carts and containers filled with clothing and materials.
• Must have good vision and use of hands in sorting.
• Stooping and bending required.
• Standing for extended periods of time.
• Some weekend work required.

• Examine items and sort for bale.
• Use appropriate containers, carts, barrels and racks to separate items.
• Follow safety protocols at all times and especially when using equipment in the warehouse.
• Transport goods within warehouse in a safe manner using appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, racks).
• Safely operate equipment which you have been properly trained to use.
• Meet predetermined goals in a team atmosphere.
• Maintain workspace in accordance with Goodwill procedures and safety protocols.
