Field Support Manager – Overview
The Field Support Manager provides oversight and coordination of field support groups, managing day‑to‑day operations and the appearance of warehouse and yard locations to support regional goals.
Responsibilities- Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with Rosendin safety regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement lines of communication and tracking between field management to ensure first‑class quality and service for internal and external customers.
- Create a chain of custody for all material entering the warehouse.
- Ensure material is transferred efficiently and accurately from storage to the production team.
- Manage and refine warehouse processes to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory control.
- Handle receiving operations for incoming and outgoing deliveries.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries when necessary.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics staff to replace damaged material.
- Ensure safe operation of company equipment and vehicles, assisting fleet services with vehicle preparation for sale.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area to promote safety.
- Perform field support duties assigned by senior leadership.
- Provide and maintain effective communication among all field support units.
- Ensure facility operations are fully functional, coordinating maintenance and repairs with the warehouse manager.
- Ensure all company safety policies are adhered to by all field support units.
- Co-ordinate logistics activities between field support units and field teams.
- Proficient understanding of material handling requirements in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and tablet data entry.
- Strong prioritization and multitasking skills under changing priorities.
- Ability to work under time pressure with a positive attitude.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and effective team player.
- Professional interaction with employees at all levels, vendors, and clients.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred).
- Minimum five years in construction support operations with knowledge of construction equipment and materials.
- Combination of education, training, and relevant experience is acceptable.

Working ConditionsGeneral environment involves sitting, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, and bending. Work is primarily indoors with varying conditions (lighting, air conditioning). Noise levels are usually low to medium but can be loud on the jobsite. Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
