AboutThe Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Highways Lighting Operative to work on our Street Lighting project in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. You will be responsible for providing support for electrical installations, repairs, planned maintenance and new installations.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting with the installation of signs / columns, bollards and associated equipment
- 24-hour Emergency Response / Out of Hours Standby
- Assisting with the installation of any new build works
- Carry out works as instructed by the Site Supervisor in a safe manner, within the scope of relevant duties
- Electrical inspection and testing including periodic testing
- Fault diagnosis and repair
- Ensure vehicles are maintained to a high standard, with vehicle defect sheet completed correctly
- Ideally 3 years Street Lighting Installations experience
- Must demonstrate good awareness of site and company rules
- Safe Isolation / G39
- SWQR Qualification
- MEWP Operator
- ECS H&S Test
- First Aid (Appointed Person)
- Manual Handling
- Preferable registration to Highways Electrical Level 3 NVQ
- CPC Hours / DQC Card - LGV Licence
