Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Locum Physician specializing as an OB Hospitalist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality obstetric care in both hospital and clinical settings. Your expertise will help ensure safe, compassionate, and effective treatment for expectant mothers, contributing directly to improved health outcomes. This position is ideal for physicians seeking flexible engagement and the chance to work in a supportive, professional environment.
Required Skills
- Valid medical license, certification, and current board eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care, labor and delivery, and emergency obstetric management
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards
- Experience working in a hospitalist setting or as a locum tenens provider
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual abilities advantageous
- Additional certifications such as ACLS or NRP
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in obstetrics
- Prior locum or temporary assignment experience is beneficial
- Must be willing to work on-call shifts and in clinical outpatient settings
- Availability starting from November 1, 2025
- Travel and licensure-related reimbursements when applicable
Hourly Pay Rate: $234.00
