Our esteemed healthcare facility is currently seeking a highly qualified Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician to provide exceptional care in a dynamic labor and delivery setting. This role offers an engaging and impactful experience, supporting prenatal, delivery, and gynecological services, ensuring the well‑being of mothers and their babies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, including emergency procedures and GYN ED case coverage.
- Manage a patient volume of approximately 25-30 deliveries per month.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team comprising RNs, pediatricians, anesthesiologists, lactation consultants, and onsite management.
- Document and support clinical procedures using Epic EMR system.
- Cover GYN ED cases while on call during scheduled shifts.
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Valid Virginia medical license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Successful completion of at least 2 years of case logs.
- DEA licensing for Virginia.
- CSR certification.
- Ability to work 24‑hour shifts with availability for call coverage.
- Experience with Jade System or similar clinical equipment.
- Prior experience in high‑volume delivery settings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Education and Experience
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of OB‑GYN practice experience.
- Active Virginia state medical license.
- Availability to start as soon as credentialing is complete.
- Willingness to provide comprehensive care in a fast‑paced labor and delivery environment.
- Billable travel expenses covered, including airfare, hotel, rental car, and mileage.
Enjoy a competitive hourly pay rate of $4,680.00, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W‑2), and a robust referral bonus program. The schedule involves 24‑hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM during periods from March 5th to March 9th and March 18th to March 20th. Support staff includes RNs, pediatricians, anesthesia, a lactation consultant, and onsite management, ensuring you have the resources to excel.
