Dean of Students – Washington County Public Schools

Position Summary: Assist in the administration of all aspects of the total school program for Washington County Schools by providing educational leadership for students and staff consistent with division goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Assists in the oversight of work and behavior of all personnel and students.

Qualification Requirements: Candidates must possess demonstrated leadership qualities and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with students, staff, administrators, and parents. Education and/or

Experience:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university.
• Candidates must either be enrolled in a Postgraduate Education Leadership program or possess a Professional License with an endorsement as a Principal or Administration/Supervision K-12.
• Bachelor degree preferred.

Terms of Employment:

• Effective Date:  school year; 210-day contracted position
• Salary: $67,174 to $81,353 per year (commensurate with qualifications and experience)
• Benefits: VRS pension and life insurance; medical/dental insurance; sick days and personal days
