Job Description
The Early Childhood Special Education Teacher provides specialized instruction and support to young learners with diverse needs, promoting their development and inclusion within educational settings. This role involves tailoring curriculum and employing behavior management strategies to foster a positive and effective learning environment. Collaboration with parents and colleagues is essential to monitor progress and ensure each student’s growth.
Responsibilities- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to early childhood special education students
- Implement behavior management techniques to support positive student conduct
- Collaborate with general education staff and paraprofessionals to enhance learning outcomes
- Maintain regular communication with parents and caregivers regarding student progress
- Monitor and document student progress using paper-based and specialized software systems
- Adapt curriculum to meet the unique needs of each student
- Entry-level experience in early childhood special education
- Certification in Early Childhood Special Education
- State teaching license
- Strong classroom management skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Adaptability and empathy in working with children and families

Salary:
Commensurate with qualifications and experience
