Financial Operations Specialist

Salary Range: $22.00 To $23.00 Hourly
People Incorporated of Virginia is currently seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Financial Operations Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting People Incorporated & subsidiaries financial operations by performing key financial duties related to accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR) and basic cash transaction processing. This role ensures the timely and accurate recording of transactions, supports internal departments with billing and payment processing, and assists with bank and credit card reconciliations.
The Fin Ops Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining financial accuracy and helping the agency meet its operational goals. This full-time, non-exempt position reports directly to the Accounting Manager
- Fin Ops. An Associates degree in accounting or business is preferred and a minimum of 2 to 4 years experience in AP, AR or general accounting is required.
