In-Home Direct Support Professional

Overview

This position is responsible for assisting those with Developmental Disabilities who live in their own home. In-Home Supports are delivered one-to-one with the primary focus being to support increased independence at home and in the community through teaching, modeling, and assistance. This position provides the use of an agency vehicle, flexible work scheduling, and the opportunity to use your training and skills to improve the lives of others.

  Full-Time, Non-exempt, Monday-Friday
• Compensation: $15.00 - Commensurate with education/experience
• Education:
  
  High School Diploma/GED. Associate’s degree or CNA License preferred
• Experience:
  
  Two (2) years of related experience

• Provide one-to-one in-home supports for individuals with Developmental Disabilities.
• Support increased independence at home and in the community through teaching, modeling, and assistance.
• Use agency vehicle as needed to support duties and transportation needs.
• Collaborate with participants and families to establish goals and monitor progress.
