SUPPORT SERVICES OF VIRGINIA (SSVA) Open Your Home. Change a Life. Lynchburg & Surrounding Counties Earn approximately $48,000-$124,000 per year while making a meaningful difference from home.Support Services of Virginia (SSVA) is looking for compassionate individuals, couples, and families throughout Lynchburg, Amherst, Bedford, Campbell County, Appomattox, Forest, Madison Heights, Rustburg, Altavista, Farmville, Buckingham County, Charlotte County, and surrounding communities who are interested in becoming Sponsored Residential Providers.
This opportunity provides ongoing income while allowing providers to offer a safe, supportive home to an adult with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Providers help individuals develop independence, engage in their communities, and experience the stability of a family-style home.
CompensationSponsored Residential Providers can earn approximately $48,000-$124,000 annually
, based on the support needs of the individual(s) served and program funding levels. Payments are issued on a biweekly basis.

Applicants must:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Be active within the local community
- Have at least six months of personal or professional experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Be comfortable using technology and electronic documentation systems
