Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesMaterial Handler, Service Delivery
As a Material Handler, Service Delivery you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and processing hazardous and nonhazardous waste materials at a service center with supervision.
- Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices
- Loads, unloads and processes solid and liquid waste safely in accordance with Company, Federal, State and Local rules and regulations
- Performs basic spill cleanup and housekeeping duties as directed
- Perform chemical compatibility checks to prevent reactions and other issues
- Utilizes barcode system equipment to document certain inventory activities
- Utilizes knowledge of applicable EPA, DOT, OSHA and permit regulations
- Utilizes appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed including boots, gloves, suits, eye/ear protection and a respirator
- Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
- Be willing to work two Saturdays per month when needed
- High‑school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1+ years of related experience (required)
