Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is a national leader in correctional healthcare, delivering quality medical services to justice‑involved individuals for over 30 years. Behind every successful clinical program is strong operational leadership—and that’s where you come in.

As the Health Services Administrator, you’ll oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the facility’s healthcare delivery system—ensuring efficiency, compliance, and high‑quality patient care. Serving as the bridge between clinical teams, facility leadership, and corporate partners, you will:

  • Direct and manage all administrative functions of the health services unit, ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, ACA, and NCCHC standards
  • Serve as the primary liaison between healthcare staff, facility administration, and corporate leadership
  • Supervise department operations including nursing, medical records, pharmacy, laboratory, and support services
  • Lead staff meetings, quality assurance initiatives, and committee functions (CQI, P&T, and others), ensuring communication and documentation are timely and effective
  • Oversee staff scheduling, coverage, and time‑off approvals to maintain operational continuity
  • Manage employee relations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and corrective actions
  • Coordinate and monitor the healthcare budget, supplies, and equipment to ensure cost‑effective operations
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of all required reports, statistics, and documentation
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and ensure confidentiality of all medical records
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership on patient care issues, specialty referrals, and outside medical services coordination
  • Respond to grievances, audits, and risk management inquiries, implementing corrective action plans as needed
  • Support staff training initiatives, including CPR and required in‑service education
  • Participate in internal audits, quality improvement programs, and interdisciplinary collaboration efforts

You’ll go beyond administration.
You’ll drive the systems, structure, and leadership that make quality healthcare possible every day.
