Position Overview

Immersion Educator – Jefferson College of Nursing, Abington‑Dixon campus, Willow Grove, Pennsylvania.

The role supports the new concept‑based BSN curriculum, which is guided by the core themes of practice excellence, population health, inter‑professional collaboration, and innovation. Immersion Educators facilitate effective student learning in a variety of clinical educational settings across the care continuum and provide guidance for students across multiple care transitions.

Work Shift:

Workday Day.

• Facilitate student learning in diverse clinical settings and support student progression through the curriculum.
• Provide guidance to students across multiple care transitions and promote reflective practice.
• Collaborate with inter‑professional care teams to create a cohesive learning environment.

• MSN from an accredited institution required.
• Clinical competency:
  Ability to function with professional accountability in clinical settings across the care continuum and with inter‑professional care teams.
• Teaching competency:
  Ability to create a climate of conceptual learning for positive student outcomes.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, staff, students, agency personnel and others.
