Job Description and Position Requirements
Penn State Abington’s Division of Arts and Humanities seeks an instructor to teach one section of English Language Structure for ESL Teachers, beginning in January 2026. This is a one-semester, non-tenure track appointment with a possibility of reappointment. We encourage candidates with a student-centered, innovative, and engaging approach to teaching to apply.
Job Duties- The successful candidate will teach one 3-credit section of EDUC 467:
English Language Structure for ESL Teachers in Spring 2026.
- Applicants must hold a master’s degree or PhD in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field.
- Experience teaching ESL certification or TESOL-related courses at the college/university level.
- Experience teaching young learners or working as an ESL/ELD teacher in K–12 settings.
- Applicants must have the ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse student population.
