Job Summary

The Rehabilitation Aide assists patients in preparing for treatments and supports therapists in performing treatment under the supervision of a licensed therapy professional. The role is performed in acute care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and outpatient settings.

• Interact with co‑workers, visitors, and other staff while maintaining Jefferson’s values.
• Perform patient care under direct supervision of a licensed therapy professional.
• Assist patients with treatment activities and ensure equipment and treatment areas remain clean, properly stored, and ready for use.
• Transport patients to treatment areas timely for therapy appointments.
• Perform clerical duties as directed by staff and supervisors to support daily departmental operations.
• Supervise exercise programs and lead group exercises, documenting attendance and related fees appropriately.
• Use basic computer skills for scheduling, transporter lists, billing, and setting up new patient administrative surveys.
• Communicate impressions and objective information clearly and timely to therapists, supervisors, and others to facilitate efficient coordination and optimal outcomes.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisors.

• High School diploma required.
• 0–2 years of experience; 1 year preferred.
• CPR certification required.
