Compensation Pay Range:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Maintain patient's safe passage in and out of the practice
- Greet, assess and interview patients
- Obtain past medical and surgical history, family history, social history, vital signs
- Review present medications, allergy history, chief complaint
- Prepare and assist patients for examination, treatment, or procedure by provider
- Anticipate needs of patients, and the provider
- Monitoring of patient during examination, or procedure
- Maintain patient care areas
- Stocking and ordering of supplies as needed, and maintaining clean exam rooms
- Charge and code supplies, medications, and procedures
- Respond to patient`s concerns in person or by telephone while simultaneously documenting the problem
- Maintains patient confidentiality
- Administers medications and IVs per physician’s orders
- Perform a variety of preliminary procedures, including phlebotomy, injections, throat cultures and more
Schedule and Location vary weekly, including rotating weekends and holidays. Required - 2 weekend shifts per month. Operation hours Monday
- Friday 9a-7p (10-hour shift), Saturday
- Sunday 9a-4p (7-hour shift).
- Participates in continued learning and possess a willingness and ability to learn and utilize new technology and procedures that continue to develop in their role and throughout the organization.
- Embraces technological advances that allow us to communicate information effectively and efficiently based on role.
- ACLS (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH) - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH) - Emergency Medical Services EMT Paramedic
- Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) - Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) - INSTRUCTOR
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH) - INSTRUCTOR
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH)
