Required:
2+ years preferred—commitment to patient- and family-centered care.

- Minimize risk of harm by following established nursing practices, protocols, and individual performance standards.
- Use information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support ethical decision making.
- Use data to monitor outcomes of care processes and employ improvement methods to design and test changes to improve quality and safety.
- Function effectively within nursing and inter‑professional teams, fostering open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision‑making.
- Recognize patients and care partners in providing safe, compassionate, and coordinated care based on personal preferences, priorities, needs, and cultural beliefs.
- Create an environment of belonging and inclusion; demonstrate problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Commit to learning, seek professional growth, and act in a preceptor role for appropriate staff members.
- Participate in hospital‑ and practice‑setting committees (safety and quality improvement).
- Give and receive feedback and integrate appropriate changes into practice.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; BSN or completion of a BSN within three years of hire strongly preferred.
- Previous experience as an RN in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- AHA BLS CPR certification.
