Specialized Diploma – Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.

• Medication Administration and Prescription – Knowledge of medications used to treat patients; ability to administer medications and prescribe drugs for continuing treatment outside the hospital.
• Discharge Planning – Knowledge of post‑discharge needs and ability to partner with patients and families in creating a discharge plan and arranging follow‑up care.
• Assessment and Diagnosis – Knowledge of assessment tools and nursing diagnosis techniques; ability to analyze symptoms and generate resolutions.
• Health Information Documentation – Knowledge of documentation methods; ability to record medical histories, symptoms, vital signs, medications, diagnoses, treatment plans, procedures, tests, and results.

• Bachelor’s Degree BSN or completion of BSN or appropriate advanced degree within 3 years of hire strongly preferred.
• 1 year previous experience as an RN in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
