Overview
- Location:
Absecon, New Jersey 08205 - Schedule:
Mon - Fri. Shifts may start at 6:45A - 2
Pm or 2P - 8:15PM. Must be available for both opening and closing shifts and willingness to cover at other clinics when needed. - Salary: $17-$18/HR

- Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources
- Manage front desk operations including patient check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls
- Review, schedule, and follow up on incoming referrals by gathering information, creating or updating patient records, and helping patients understand next steps
- Keep patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments, working waitlists, filling cancellations, and following up with patients who need future visits
- Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments accurately and professionally, including basic payment tracking or reconciliation when needed
- Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentation
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in a medical front desk, healthcare reception, physical therapy, chiropractic, dental, or similar clinical office setting preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-up skills
- Comfort using computers, phones, scheduling systems, electronic medical records, email, and basic spreadsheets
- Ability to discuss payments, scheduling expectations, and basic insurance information with professionalism
- A calm, patient-centered approach with strong attention to detail and a willingness to help the team
