Document Controller

The Document Controller will be responsible for managing, organizing, and controlling project documentation for onshore oil and gas projects. The role requires a professional with experience in document management systems, engineering documentation, and familiarity with oil and gas project standards.

• Receive, register, and distribute incoming documents in accordance with project document control procedures.
• Maintain and update engineering documents, drawings, and project files using document management systems (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, or similar).
• Ensure proper version control, filing, and tracking of project documents.
• Coordinate with project teams to collect, review, and submit documentation for approvals.
• Support the preparation of project reports, transals, and document submittals.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, client standards, and ADNOC documentation requirements.
• Assist in audits, inspections, and document retrieval for project needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of project records.

• Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Document Controller in oil and gas projects.
• Experience working with document control systems such as Aconex, SharePoint, or EDMS.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, project documentation, and revision control.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
