The successful candidates will be closely aligned with our core values and ethos and possess a genuine understanding and appreciation of the values of the region.
Responsibilities- To welcome visitors to our school and deal with queries from families, visitors, staff and children.
- To support the administration and organisation of trips and visits.
- To maintain staff files and records, including payroll.
- To facilitate the transfer of documents to and from Aldar HQ.
- To support the recruitment process including taking up references for new staff.
- To line manage the work of the other admin staff.
- Supporting the receptionist at busy times.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Secondary Principal, including diary management, correspondence, meeting coordination, and document preparation.
- Screen and manage phone calls, emails, and meeting requests on behalf of the Secondary Principal, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
- Draft, edit, and format correspondence, reports, presentations, and official communications, including the oversight of awards.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records, files, and databases.
- Coordinate and prepare agendas, materials, and minutes for leadership and staff meetings.
- Support the organisation of key school events such as parent meetings, inspections, award ceremonies, and professional development sessions.
- Assist with data collection, collation, and report preparation for ADEK, KHDA, or other regulatory bodies as required.
- Liaise effectively with internal departments (HR, Admissions, Finance, Facilities, etc.) to ensure smooth operations.
- Serve as the first point of contact for parents, staff, and external stakeholders seeking access to the Secondary Principal.
- Manage communications with professionalism, confidentiality, and sensitivity.
- Support the coordination of staff and parent communications, newsletters, and announcements
- Ensure adherence to school policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Support preparation for inspections, audits, and accreditation visits.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of school and ADEK policies relevant to secondary operations.
- Minimum diploma / degree of higher education; or Related industry qualification, of graduate level, for the assigned functional area(s).
- 5+ Years’ Experience in similar role
