About the Project
The Work Placement Program is an experiential learning initiative designed to provide students aged 15–18 with meaningful workplace exposure through placements with leading organizations across multiple sectors in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. The program supports career exploration, workplace readiness, and the development of future‑ready skills through structured industry experiences.
Role PurposeThe Project Intern will support the operations team in managing student communication, application screening, shortlisting coordination, data tracking, and administrative activities related to the Work Placement Program – Summer 2026. The role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to manage information accurately and confidentially.
Key Responsibilities Student & Parent Communication- Contact students and parents professionally via phone and email
- Explain program opportunities, requirements, and expectations clearly
- Confirm student availability, transportation, and commitment
- Respond to basic inquiries professionally and accurately
- Review student applications based on project criteria
- Support the shortlisting process according to partner requirements
- Update student tracking sheets and records accurately
- Maintain proper documentation of communication outcomes
- Assist in maintaining databases and tracking systems
- Coordinate schedules and follow‑ups with students and parents
- Escalate sensitive or exceptional cases to supervisors
- Support day‑to‑day project operations and coordination activities
- Ensure accurate data entry and record management
Maintain confidentiality of student information - Prepare basic reports and status updates when required
- University student or recent graduate preferred
- Background in Business Administration, Education, Communications, Psychology, HR, or related fields is an advantage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional telephone etiquette
- Good organizational and time‑management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
