Job Summary
The Medical Secretary cum Admin provides administrative, clerical, and secretarial support to ensure smooth daily operations of the medical facility. The role involves managing patient and office correspondence, scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and supporting doctors and management with administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily administrative and secretarial tasks in the clinic/medical facility.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and patient correspondence in a professional manner.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage doctors’ calendars.
- Prepare and maintain medical and administrative documents, letters, and reports.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for patient records and office documents.
- Coordinate with patients, doctors, insurance companies, and external vendors.
- Assist in medical billing, invoices, quotations, and insurance documentation.
- Monitor and manage office and medical supplies inventory.
- Coordinate laboratory requests, referrals, and follow-ups when required.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient and company information at all times.
- Support management and medical staff with day-to-day administrative needs.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in medical secretary or administrative roles (clinic/hospital experience preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of medical terminology is an advantage.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
