Library Assistant - Abu-Dhabi, UAE (Preference for Indian Women Without Experience)
We are seeking an enthusiastic library assistant to join our team in Abu-Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate should be of Indian nationality and a woman with no experience. This is a part time role, which will require working approximately 20 hours per week.
- Assist patrons in locating books and other materials within the library
- Provide reference and research assistance to patrons
- Maintain the circulation desk
- Shelve books, process new materials, and update the library’s electronic catalog
- Provide library tours to new patrons or help develop programming for children or adults
The successful candidate should have an interest in literature and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. You should also possess strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively under pressure in order to ensure that all library operations run smoothly.
