Librarian Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Librarian Assistant in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a passion for books and knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. This is a contract position with the potential for growth within our organization.

• Assist in managing the library's collection of books, magazines, and electronic resources.
• Help patrons locate materials and provide recommendations based on their interests.
• Process new materials by cataloguing, labeling, and shelving them.
• Maintain accurate records of library transactions and materials.
• Assist with organizing programs and events for library patrons.
• Keep the library clean and organized at all times.

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Previous experience as a librarian assistant is preferred but not required.

This is a contract position with a salary of $1400 per month.

This position is located in Abu Dhabi. Preference will be given to Indian or African candidates who are fluent in English.
