We are seeking an experienced Librarian to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate must be highly organized and have a passion for books. We are willing to consider an immigrant for this position.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing library services including cataloging, circulation and reference services for patrons. They will also assist in the acquisition and organization of books, magazines and other media resources. The Librarian will also be expected to promote library services and help patrons find the resources they need.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or a related field with experience in library operations and cataloging systems preferred. No experience is necessary for this position but candidates must demonstrate excellent organizational skills and customer service abilities. The ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
